Made once. Made properly.
Fitted kitchens, staircases and bespoke joinery, cut and finished in our Sheffield workshop. Third generation, still the same two pairs of hands.

Recent work
Ashgate kitchen
Solid oak, hand-painted, twelve weeks from first sketch.
Cantilever staircase
Ash treads, blackened steel spine, Victorian townhouse.
Library wall
Floor to ceiling in walnut, with a ladder that runs the length.
Sixty years of sawdust
My grandfather opened the workshop in 1964 making church pews. We still use two of his planes, and the same rule he had: if it wouldn’t do for our own house, it doesn’t leave the yard.
Everything is drawn, cut and finished here. Nothing is bought in flat-packed and badged as bespoke.
How a commission works
From the first visit to the last adjustment, most kitchens take around four months.
