Work

Thoughtful design. Working websites.

Live websites and six interactive concepts, each built around a different business. The concepts demonstrate design and functionality for fictional brands; bookings and enquiries are simulated.

Find Balance Therapy

A working therapist’s practice site: clear about what she offers, easy to get in touch with, and calm enough to suit the subject. Built and looked after by me from the first sketch onwards.

Designed and built for a friend at no charge. It’s a live practice website, with ongoing care from me.

My own product

Bookton

A UK booking platform I built and still run day to day. It’s the reason I can say yes when a salon or clinic asks for proper online booking.

Kittiwake Yard

“Homes on the Ouseburn, where the kittiwakes come back every spring”

People buying off-plan come back to a development site again and again, and they’re looking for three things: which apartments are still available, what each one costs, and how big the rooms really are. So the site leads with a filterable availability list, floor plans drawn to the same scale, and a plain account of how reserving works.

The Field Room

“A calmer place to begin again”

Therapy clients decide in seconds whether they feel safe. The site leads with tone and a free 15-minute call rather than credentials, and puts fees in plain sight so nobody has to ask.

  • Written for anxious first-time visitors

Marigold & Ash

“An hour that is entirely yours”

Almost every visitor arrives on a phone, mid-scroll, looking for one thing: availability. Treatments and prices sit one tap from the top, with booking always within reach.

Brightleaf Cleaning

“Offices that feel looked after”

Buyers here compare three quotes. The site answers the qualifying questions up front (areas covered, insurance, staff vetting), so the form only asks what is needed to price the job. Deliberately the plainest design of the six.

  • Quote form in the hero
  • Service areas
  • Trust credentials

Hollow & Son

“Made once. Made properly.”

Trades sell on evidence. The whole layout is built around large photographs of finished work, with the phone number as the main call to action rather than a form.

Concept project Tutoring · London

Merton Maths

“Confidence before the exam, not after it”

The parent is the buyer and the child is the user. The site speaks to the parent’s worry directly, shows the tutor as a person, and makes a free trial lesson the only decision to make.

  • Parent-focused copy
  • Trial lesson flow
  • Term-time availability
